History is a witness that a powerful revolution always needs a strong vision and an even stronger intent. Our story too started with a majestic vision for bringing out an innovative revolution. After being settled in The Netherlands for a good span of time and being surrounded by EVs that were taking the world towards a sustainable tomorrow, a cue was enough for our visionary to stride his path in developing a futuristic ecosystem. In 2018, a belief that Electric Vehicles have the potential to replace the tailpipe pollutants from the millions of vehicles resulted in sowing the seeds for goEgo. All it took was a conference on sustainability and transportation for the spark to ignite and there was no looking back since then.
For Over the next one year, our Man with the Plan - Mr. Sayantan Chakraborti focussed on closely monitoring the developments. Slowly yet steadily the pieces started coming together with countless conversations with the industry experts. The decision to launch goEgo was strengthened by an insight that most EV infrastructure companies were either corporate dinosaurs of the energy & oil industry or spinoffs that lacked the agility and innovation required to build strategic solutions.
As the objective grew stronger, Sayantan met his like-minded aide & futurists, Pravin Kumar and Dheeman Kadam, who were equally passionate about bringing a revolution in the world of e-mobility with a cost-effective, intelligent and futuristic EV charging platform. With the bull’s eye set for the trio, they started devising the blueprint and by mid-2019, their core clan of motivated individuals was ready. The following evenings and weekends were spent bringing to life the architecture of the goEgo network alongside the countless technical, strategic and administrative decisions.
Today this team of charismatic personalities thrives to pioneer a greener and more energy-efficient world in the coming years while goEgo strides ahead with a goal to make an impact on society by building a green brigade.
What revolution is honored without a powerful vision and intent? Our story also began with finding alternative solutions to reduce carbon emissions from ICE vehicles. This thought was soon converted into the belief that Electric Vehicles are a force of change for a sustainable tomorrow.
Within a year's time, Impactware Technology Solutions was founded by the passionate vigor of three sustainability enthusiasts who came together for the love of their planet and all things sustainable. goEgo was launched with the goal to accelerate the adoption of electric mobility by providing a state-of-the-art platform to its members
2020 marked our first-time participation in Plugfest, a global event for technology companies in EV charging. It was followed by our first prototype which was successfully tested with EVs from the stables of Hyundai and Tesla. Our very first order was soon received from HPCL, and in no time we strengthened our presence in 5 Indian states.
2021 is the year we raised our very first round of funding. In September, our own factory became operational, and soon we developed our initial three charging stations, Albatross Series, Eagle Series, and Falcon Series. We also completed our first captive installation in 2021.
We are getting bigger and better, and joining us in many of our firsts are installations in a mall, educational institutes, and profuse partnerships with Park+, No Broker, and Handiman Services. In June we launched the goEgo Charge Park on the Mumbai - Bangalore highway of DC fast charging stations. Since our inception, our presence has grown in 28 cities across 12 states and we have only just began.
